Current Projects
We are currently working on two NEW projects in our lab.
1. Investigating speech and feeding development in Individuals with cerebral palsy
2. Investigating speech and feeding development in Individuals with Down syndrome
We are interested in examining the developmental characteristics of chewing and speech using
the 3-D motion capture system to track motion of the face, lips, and jaw of the participants
while they speak and/or eat.
The long-term goal of our work is to develop improved therapeutic interventions for children
with speech and/or feeding difficulties.
