Directions to our Lab

The Department of Communicative Disorders is located in Goodnight Hall on the University of Wisconsin campus.

*Please note, we are affiliated with the Waisman Center, but our lab is not at the Waisman Center.

Free parking is located directly in front of the department. Please be sure to ask the receptionist for a free parking pass.

Directions from the east side of Madison

Take Gorham Street toward campus (West)
Gorham Street turns into University Avenue
Around the 1200 block of University Avenue turn right at the stoplight onto Charter Street
Continue on Charter for 2 blocks
Turn left onto Observatory Drive
Continue on Observatory Drive for approximately 1/4-1/2 mile.
Turn right onto Elm Drive
Turn left onto the first driveway ( into the dorm parking lot)
Continue along this driveway until you reach the 4th building (on your right hand side)
This building is 1975 Goodnight Hall
*Please feel free to park directly in front of the building. You must obtain a free parking
permit from the receptionist. The receptionist's office is directly to your right as you enter the front door.

Directions from the west side of Madison

Take University Avenue toward campus (East)
Continue on University Avenue past UW-Hospital/VA Hospital
University Avenue splits off into University Avenue and Campus Drive
Merge onto Campus Drive (to your right)
At the stop light turn left onto Walnut Street the next stoplight will be Observatory Drive
Turn right onto Observatory Drive continue on Observatory Drive for about 1/4 mile
Turn left onto Elm Drive at the 4-way stop
Turn left onto the first driveway (into the dorm parking lot)
Continue along this driveway until you reach the 4th building (on your right hand side)
